Silent Summers☀️- The Doon Valley musings!⛰️✨️

Blog 16
Do you love summers?...especially after long winters.

Summers are quite, lot's of birds chirping, insects making wierd noises, sound of the rustling leaves, rivers flowing and fans on high speed. Still I feel summers are quite peaceful. There is so much sunlight, It's feels bright and just right.

In Summers, you want the Sunlight, but not too much of it. It's the best, when it's sunny during the day and rains a little in the evening. The Sun dries up the top soil, and later when it rains, we get to smell the 'Petrichor'. It's just so amazing. Don't you agree?
Currently, I live in a village where the Summers seem all the more timeless. It's feels quite throughout the day. When I walk into the balcony, at mid noon. There's this timeless feeling, empty roads, clear skies, cows and goats grazing with bells around their neck, trees basking in the sunlight. I can say "I feel the summer" not because it's sunny, but there's Silence...Silent summers indeed ☀️.....

One fine evening...The Doon Valley musings!⛰️✨️

"An Evening of Stillness and Life"

One fine evening, I found myself on the college campus. As I reached the center, I encountered a junction with six paths. Above me, a group of birds soared in a circle, their movements graceful and mesmerizing. I chose one path and followed the enchanting sound of chirping birds, perched among a cluster of bamboo trees. The sound was so meditative, inviting me to pause and absorb the moment.

Continuing my walk, I arrived at the basketball court. To the east, the magnificent mountains stood silently, their presence both majestic and calming. To the west, a beautiful sunset unfolded, framed by lush trees. The sun glowed like a bright red orb, perfectly complemented by the greenery surrounding it.

After a little more wandering, I settled onto the stairs near the basketball court. To my surprise, a troop of monkeys appeared. I have seen monkeys before, but this time there were 25 to 30 of them, creating an amusing balance between the human and monkey populations in that moment.

That fine evening felt timeless, yet it buzzed with life all around me, as the stillness wrapped me in the gentle sounds of nature, inviting a deep sense of peace within.
