The Pindari glacier trek (PART E)

After a day's camping in Dwali , the next morning we were all geared up to trek ahead to Phurkia, the path was well laid(we thought so) , but was rocky and a steep climb at some places.

  Mountains - Freedom beyond expression!

I was told that it was 5km trek to Phurkia, and 4km further to the camping site In total, 9km was not a big deal I thought(I was wrong!). The previous day my trek mates had encountered the bear in that very trail, so throughout until I reached Phurkia, I often imagined a bear, and at some places I was alone, that was a thrilling moment. The path was mind-blowing

Dwali to Phurkia trail
With many waterfalls and cutting edge marvels, were a wrong step, I would be all down, without any efforts.

Cutting edge marvels😄
Finally I reached Phurkia, all my trek mates did it. The snowcapped mountains were visible. I was so exited for snow trekking and To feel the snow, as it was my first time. I felt I was closer to my dream. After having my packed lunch , and a short break, we started trekking, here came the actual adventure, It was a endless trail, Sorry I broke the suspense in the very beginning, there are many more. I got physically exhausted. The oxygen level was also decreasing.Whenever , I just sat down, My seniors encouraged me to keep moving. 'keep moving', this phrase made me realize many things. Firstly, When we take frequent breaks, we loose the rhythm. Secondly, we can fall sick. Thirdly, I got to perceive the philosophical meaning.
                              Phurkia
At some edges, I stretched both my hands like a airplane, to maintain balance and at some places, due to landslide , the trail had disappeared, so the porters made one for us, the soil was loose, so  I used my additional leg, the trekking pole, for support. I successfully crossed all challenges, But It was more and more and more walking...the campsite was not visible. I was physically exhausted and at a point I made up my mind, started to take only one very small step at a time, but no stopping, it was more like a meditation, like one slow breath at a time!.. It was the hardest trail I had ever trekked. Dwali was soo comfortable, I felt like - This is what leaving my comfort zone feels like , and I loved it. Now, I Dream to climb many more mountains in my lifetime.
                       What am I upto?
When the campsite was just visible, but still far away, I screamed silently...... eureka, eureka..!!...I Did not cry out of happiness, to save energy to reach the campsite. When I finally reached, there was  a small cozy hut were all of us sat, until the camps were set up.
       Took me Back in time♾️(Impossible)

It was freezing cold...as the sun was setting, we could witness the golden hour, slowly the darkness grew darker. Under the moonlight, surrounded by many snow capped mountains and countless visible stars, It was like I was living my dream. I was speechless!

#intuitively flowing towards mountains!🌊⛰️✨️
